Jenny Brown admits that she’s unsure if the emphasis on fake meat in vegan cuisine is beneficial in promoting a plant-based diet. On the one hand, this certainly introduces meat-eaters to the reality that you don’t need to integrate animal products into your diet to enjoy the textures and flavors of foods you are already used to. At the most basic level, that’s certainly not a step in the wrong direction!
